MFE (MFEB Italy): Cost savings offset weak advertising
MFEB.MI (update): MFE’s H1 improvement was driven primarily by rapid ProSiebenSat.1 integration savings rather than an advertising recovery: adjusted EBIT reached €145.7m versus a €7.3m pro forma loss as entertainment costs fell €216.9m. Management expects Q3 advertising revenue to decline by a low-single-digit percentage, while Q4 visibility remains limited, especially in Germany; faster savings protect earnings, but DACH cash consumption and uncertainty over the underlying cost run rate temper the result.
