Under Armour: Sell More Shirts And Shoes. That’s It.
UAA (update): Under Armour’s restructuring has removed costs, products and its two largest athlete platforms without delivering better margins, while core apparel and footwear revenue continues to decline. The Bouncy Tee sold through ahead of plan and Nordstrom currently shows minimal discounting, but new products lack the distribution scale to move a $4.7B revenue base. Just one quarter into FY27, revenue-growth guidance is already worse than FY26 despite the year’s original “stabilization” framing. The legacy business appears to be deteriorating faster than Plank anticipated.
