WHC.AX: Bought 2 met coal mines from BHP in 2024, sold 30% of 1 mine for >1/3 purchase price, kept rest. Stock unchanged despite transformed asset base, earnings mix & balance sheet. Simple life-of-asset calc on met coal alone far exceeds mkt cap. BHP didn't sell by choice. Operational risks present but deal math compelling.
