As of December 7, 2005, Videocon International Ltd. was acquired by Videocon Industries Ltd. Videocon International, Ltd. manufactures consumer electronic products. It manufactures colour televisions (TVs), black and white TVs, and audio products. The company also manufactures components of its products, such as electronic tuners, FBTs, ATDMs, and deflection yokes. In addition, Videocon produces home audio systems, stereo radio, recorders, and personal stereos, as well as the contemporary international range of Kenwood Digital Hi Fi Systems. The company, through its division, Videocon Narmada Glass, manufactures glass shells for color television picture tubes. Videocon was founded by Nandlal Madhavlal Dhoot and is based in Aurangabad, India.
