It invests in fixed income markets of the United States. The fund primarily invests in high-yield municipal bonds that are rated BBB or below by S&P or Fitch or Baa or below by Moody’s. It invests in securities with average effective duration of less than 5 years. It seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the Bloomberg Municipal Bond Index, Bloomberg Municipal High Yield Bond Index and a customized benchmark index comprising of 60% Muni HY (0-18 years), 20% Muni BBB (0-18 years) and 20% IG ex BBB (0-18 years).
