The fund is co-managed by SSGA Funds Management, Inc., State Street Global Advisors Singapore Limited. It invests in the fixed income markets of global emerging region. The fund primarily invests in US dollar-denominated debt issued by sovereign and quasi-sovereign emerging market issuers. It seeks to invest in securities with remaining maturity of at least one year and an original maturity of at least two and a half years. It seeks to track the performance of the Bloomberg Emerging Market USD Sovereign and Sovereign Owned Index, by using representative sampling technique.
