As of July 28, 2006, Telefonica Moviles, S.A. was acquired by Telefonica, S.A. In addition, the company offers various value-added services, including voice mail, call hold, call waiting, call forwarding, and three-way calling. Telefonica Moviles operates in Spain, Mexico, Peru, El Salvador, Guatemala, Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile, as well as in Brazil and Morocco. It has strategic alliances with T-Mobile International, Vodafone Espana, and Orange S.A. The company was incorporated in 2000 and is headquartered in Madrid, Spain.
