Aberdeen Singapore Fund, Inc. is a closed ended equity mutual fund launched and managed by Aberdeen Standard Investments (Asia) Limited. The fund invests in the public equity markets of Singapore. It also invests a part of its assets in the public equity markets of the ASEAN Group including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (formerly Burma), the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. The fund seeks to invest in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the MSCI Singapore Index. The fund was formerly known as The Singapore Fund, Inc. Aberdeen Singapore Fund, Inc. was formed on May 31, 1990 and is domiciled in the United States.
