It is co-managed by SummerHaven Investment Management, LLC. The fund invests in commodity markets. It invests through derivatives such as futures in energy including crude oil (Brent), crude oil (WTI), gas oil, heating oil, and unleaded gasoline, precious metals including gold, silver, and platinum, industrial metals including zinc, nickel, aluminum, copper, lead, and tin, grains including soybean oil, wheat, corn, soybeans, and soybean meal, softs including sugar, cotton, coffee, cocoa, natural gas, live cattle, lean hogs, feeder cattle. The fund invests in futures contracts through its wholly owned Cayman Islands subsidiary. It seeks to track the performance of its portfolio against SummerHaven Dynamic Commodity Index Total Return, Bloomberg Commodity Index Total Return and S&P 500 Index.
