iShares U.S. ETF Trust - iShares Bloomberg Roll Select Commodity Strategy ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by BlackRock, Inc. The fund is managed by BlackRock Fund Advisors. It invests directly, through derivatives in commodity and fixed income markets. For commodity portion, the fund invests through derivatives in agricultural, energy, precious metals and industrial metals commodities. It uses derivatives such as futures to create its portfolio. It seeks to gain exposure to index futures and other commodity investments through a wholly-owned Cayman Islands subsidiary. The fund seeks to track the performance of the Bloomberg Roll Select Commodity Total Return Index, by using representative sampling technique.
