The fund invests in fixed income markets of the United States. It primarily invests in U.S. dollar denominated tax-exempt investment grade variable rate demand obligations (VRDOs) publicly issued by U.S. states and territories, and their political subdivisions with at least one day remaining to final maturity. It seeks to track the performance of the ICE US Municipal AMT-Free VRDO Constrained Index, by using representative sampling technique.
