It invests directly in the public equity markets of the United States and uses equity index swaps, futures contracts and options on securities to invest in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund primarily invests in stocks of companies within the market capitalization range of the S&P MidCap 400 Index. It seeks to track 200% of the daily performance of the S&P MidCap 400 Index. Rydex ETF Trust - Rydex 2x S&P MidCap 400 ETF was formed on November 5, 2007 and is domiciled in the United States.
