Esprit Energy Trust

As of October 2, 2006, Esprit Energy was acquired by Pengrowth Energy Trust. Esprit Energy Trust operates as an open-end unincorporated investment trust in Canada. The trust engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, and production of oil and natural gas reserves in western Canada. It primarily operates in Greater Olds, Berry/Winnifred, Peace River Arch, Saskatchewan, Central Alberta, and Southern Alberta. As of December 31, 2005, the trust has net proved reserves of approximately 3,493 thousand barrels of light/medium oil, 495 thousand barrels of heavy oil, 180,716 million cubic feet of natural gas, and 4,031 thousand barrels of natural gas liquids. It was formerly known as Esprit Exploration Limited and changed its name to Esprit Energy Trust in August 2004. Esprit Energy Trust was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
