TV Azteca, S.A.B. de C.V., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the production of Spanish-language television content worldwide. It also produces various content, including series, newscasts, and sports broadcasts, as well as reality, music, game, talk, and various shows. In addition, the company owns a soccer team. The company was formerly known as Controladora Mexicana de Comunicaciones, S.A. de C.V. and changed its name to TV Azteca, S.A.B. de C.V. in July 1996. TV Azteca, S.A.B. de C.V. was founded in 1993 and is based in Mexico City, Mexico.
