Catskill Financial Corporation, through Catskill Savings Bank, operated as a community-oriented financial institution in New York, as of June 30, 2000. The bank's primary lending activity was the origination of fixed- and adjustable rate, one to four family residential mortgage loans. It also offered fixed-rate consumer loans and adjustable-rate home equity line of credit consumer loans, commercial loans, multifamily real estate loans, and other loans. Besides, the bank offered passbook and statement savings accounts, money market savings accounts, interest bearing and non-interest bearing transaction accounts, and certificate of deposit accounts. It served its primary market area, which consisted of Greene County, and southern Albany and Schoharie Counties in New York, through its main office and five banking offices.
