China Ritar Power Corp., together with its subsidiaries, primarily manufactures and sells sealed lead acid batteries. The company offers VRLA, motive power, lithium, and reserve power batteries; battery assembling racks and battery charger; solar inverters, home systems, and panels; and handset screen, precious metals, DC fans, and LED bulbs. Its products are used in solar and wind energy, control system, deep cycle, telecom, UPS, electric power, and medical applications; and e-vehicles, inverters, forklifts, electric bicycles and motor cycles, golf buggies, emergency lights, and electric tools. The company was formerly known as Ritar International Group Limited and changed its name to China Ritar Power Corp. in February 2007. The company was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Shenzhen, China with a factories in Shenzhen, China. It also has operations in Dongguan and Hengyang, China; and Trang Bang, Vietnam.
