WMS Industries Inc., through its subsidiaries, engages in the design, manufacture, and distribution of games, video and mechanical reel-spinning gaming machines, and video lottery terminals (VLTs) for the legalized gaming industry worldwide. The company provides differentiated games, video gaming machines, mechanical reel gaming machines, VLTs, and online gaming products and services, as well as social, casual, and mobile gaming products and services. The Company's gaming machines are sold under the Bluebird, Bluebird2, Bluebird2e, Bluebird xD, and Blade C1brands. WMS also sells replacement parts; conversion kits, including game, hardware, or operating system conversions; and used gaming machines. In addition, the company engages in gaming operations activities that include wide-area progressive (WAP) participation games that are electronically linked gaming machines located across multiple casinos within a single gaming jurisdiction under MONOPOLY, THE WIZARD OF OZ, CLUE, GONE WITH THE WIND and THE LORD OF THE RINGS brands. Further, it offers local-area progressive (LAP) participation games, which electronically links gaming machines that are located within a single casino under Leprechaun’s Gold, Jackpot Party Progressive, Life of Luxury Progressive, Hot Hot Super Jackpot Progressive, Goldfish Race for the Gold, Money to Burn Multiplying Progressive, and HAPPY DAYS brands; stand-alone participation games under the THE WIZARD OF OZ, THE PRICE IS RIGHT, and Super Team games brands; and casino-owned daily fee games; leased for-sale games; licensing royalties; and Class II and centrally determined systems, as well as networked gaming services.
