Movie Star, Inc. designs, manufactures, imports, markets, and distributes women’s intimate apparel in the United States and Canada. Its products include pajamas, nightgowns, baby dolls, nightshirts, dusters, shifts, caftans, sundresses, rompers, short sets, beachwear, peignoir ensembles, robes, leisurewear, and panties. The company also offers daywear, including bodysuits, soft bras, slips, half-slips, teddies, camisoles, and cami tap sets. Movie Star sells its products to mass merchandisers, specialty and department stores, discount retailers, national and regional chains, and direct mail catalog marketers. The company was founded in 1935 and is based in New York, New York.
