Pennsylvania Enterprises was acquired by Southern Union Co. on 11/04/1999. Pennsylvania Enterprises, Inc., a holding company, through its subsidiaries, was engaged in both regulated and nonregulated activities, such as sale of natural gas, propane, electricity, and other energy-related products and services; the construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of utility facilities, primarily natural gas distribution pipelines; and the sale of property for residential, commercial, and other development, as of June 30, 1999.
