The fund is co-managed by First Trust Global Portfolios Limited. It invests in the fixed income global emerging markets region. The fund invests in bonds and notes issued by governments, instrumentalities, agencies or other political subdivisions of governments, central banks, sovereign entities, and supranational issuers or development agencies of any maturity that are denominated in the local currency of the issuer. The fund seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the Bloomberg Emerging Markets Local Currency Government - 10% Country Capped Index and the JP Morgan GBI-EM Global Diversified Index.
