Douglas & Lomason Company

In October 1996, Douglas & Lomason Company merged into Magna Acquisition Corporation, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Magna International, Inc. As a result of the merger, the name of the company, as the surviving corporation and an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Magna International became Magna Lomason Corporation. Previously, Douglas & Lomason Company operated as a supplier of original equipment parts to the North American automotive industry. Its automotive products included fully trimmed seating, seat frame assemblies and mechanisms, soft tops and accessories, and decorative moldings. The company also manufactured material handling systems, custom truck bodies, and trailers. In addition, it manufactured conveyors, bag filling scales, and automatic palletizers; and sold them to the agriculture, mining, and transportation industries.
