In October 2002, CMI entered into an agreement with Cerner Corporation under which it would provide development services to Cerner clients. The company was incorporated in 1977 and is based in Boulder, Colorado. Colorado MEDTEC LLC was formerly subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc.
