Aeroflex Holding Corp. designs, engineers, and manufactures microelectronic products, and test and measurement equipment in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The company operates in two segments, Aeroflex Microelectronic Solutions (AMS) and Aeroflex Test Solutions (ATS). The AMS segment offers a range of microelectronics products for commercial wireless communications, space, avionics and defense, medical, and other markets. It offers HiRel microelectronics/semiconductors, including transceivers, analog multiplexers, clock management generators, MSI logic products, battery electronics units, voltage regulators, high-speed power controllers, MIL-STD 1553 bus controllers, remote terminals, bus monitors, microcontrollers and microprocessors, RadHard pulse width modulation controllers, and RadHard resolver-to-digital and memory modules. This segment also provides amplifiers, resistors, inductors, capacitors, switches, and integrated devices; mixed-signal/digital application specific integrated circuits; and motion control products, such as actuators and mechanisms, electronic controllers, slip rings and twist capsules, DC motors, and gimbal systems. The ATS segment offers wireless test equipment, which is used by wireless service providers and equipment manufacturers to develop and test wireless handsets, base stations, and evaluate network performance; military radio and PMR test equipment for use by radio manufacturers, as well as military, police, fire, and emergency response units to test handheld radio units; and avionics test equipment, which is used in the design, manufacture, test, and maintenance of commercial, civil and military airborne electronic systems.
