NMDC Group PJSC, together with subsidiaries, executes engineering, procurement, and construction contracts, and dredging contracts and related land reclamation works in the United Arab Emirates and internationally. The company operates through two segments Dredging and Marine; and Energy. Its dredging activities include capital and maintenance dredging for ports and harbours, artificial island construction, beach construction, land reclamation, and intake and outfall dredging. The company is also involved in marine construction activities, which include construction of breakwaters, revetments, groyne, and related rock works; concrete armour protection; gravity quay walls construction; retaining and diaphragm walls; boat ramps and slipways; sheet and tubular steel piling works; and marinas and pontoons. In addition, it offers hydrographic, magnetometer, and geophysical survey services, as well as side scan sonar services; ground improvement and geotechnical value-added solutions from concept to execution, which includes vibro compaction and replacement, surface compaction, geotechnical investigation, and coring and geophysical survey; and project logistics, marine logistics and offshore support, and towage and barge operation services. Further, the company manufactures and supplies precast concrete, and steel pipes and accessories; and provides consultancy services in the fields of civil, architectural, drilling, and marine engineering, as well as related laboratory services. Additionally, it engages in offshore reclamation and land reclamation works, and ports and marine engineering works; and provision of services for fixing water installation services for marine facilities and excavation contracts. The company was founded in 1976 and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. NMDC Group PJSC is a subsidiary of Alpha Dhabi Holding PJSC.
