Lazard World Dividend & Income Fund Inc. is a close ended balanced mutual fund launched and managed by Lazard Asset Management LLC. The fund invests in the public equity and fixed income markets across the globe. It invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in stocks of companies across all market capitalizations. It employs fundamental analysis with a bottom-up stock picking approach, while focusing on factors such as income statement, cash flow statement, balance sheet analysis to build its portfolio. The fund will also invest 33 1/2% of its leveraged assets in emerging market currencies, debt obligations, including government, government agency and corporate obligations and structured notes denominated in emerging market currencies through the use of financial leverage.
