VanEck Funds - Onchain Economy ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Van Eck Absolute Return Advisers Corporation. The fund invests in public equity, commodity, and currency markets. For its equity portion, it invests in stocks of companies operating across energy, energy infrastructure, financials, financial services, transaction and payment processing services, internet merchant services, engage in and/or assist with the digital asset mining operations, information technology, software and services, digital asset exchanges, data center capacity or other services to digital asset operation, digital asset infrastructure businesses, facilitate commerce with the use of digital assets sectors. It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. For its commodity portion, the fund invests through other derivatives such as futures and options in commodity markets. For its currency portion, it through derivatives such as swaps in crypto assets. It invests through the wholly owned Cayman Islands subsidiary.
