The fund invests in corporate bonds and notes, mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, convertible securities, preferred securities and government obligations that are rated in the four highest rating categories by at least one of the recognized rating agencies including Baa or better by Moody’s or BBB or better by S&P or Fitch. It invests in securities of varying maturities. It seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Bond Index.
