First Chicago Corporation

As of December 1, 1995, First Chicago Corporation was acquired by First Chicago Corporation. First Chicago Corporation operated as the holding company for The First National Bank of Chicago (FNBC), American National Corporation (ANC), and FCC National Bank. FNBC's products and services included global merchant banking, private placement of debt securities, merger and acquisition advisory services, subordinated debt investments, transaction financing, asset sales and distributions, loan syndication, and financial advisory services. ANC, through its bank subsidiaries, American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago, and American National Bank and Trust Company of Wisconsin, provided commercial banking products and services, including commercial loans, demand and time deposit accounts, and cash management services to the correspondent banks and commercial customers. FCC National Bank was engaged in the issuance of VISA and MasterCard credit cards. The company was founded in 1969 and is based in Chicago, Illinois.
