Resolute FP US Inc., doing business as Resolute Forest Products PAC, produces paper and paper products in North America. The company also operates sawmills that produce construction-grade lumber, as well as sells pulpwood, saw timber, and wood chips. As of December 31, 2007, it owned or leased approximately 0.1 million acres of timberlands in the southeastern United States and approximately 0.6 million acres of timberlands in Canada. The company was formerly known as AbiBow US Inc. and changed its name to Resolute FP US Inc. in May, 2012. The company was founded in 1964 and is based in Catawba, South Carolina.
