It invests directly and through derivatives in investment-grade securities issued by the U.S. government, its agencies and instrumentalities that are rated Baa3 and above by Moody’s or BBB- and above by S&P. The fund seeks to maintain dollar-weighted average maturity of the portfolio as 3-10 years. It invests in securities of companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. The fund employs proprietary research to create its portfolio.
