Scanner Technologies Corporation engages in the development and marketing of machine-vision inspection products that are used in the semiconductor industry for the inspection of integrated circuits. It offers various inspection modules, including UltraVim Module used for three-dimensional (3D) inspections of leaded devices and two-dimensional inspections of ball devices; UltraVim Plus Module used for 3D inspections of leaded devices, as well as of ball devices; and UltraMark used for the inspection of the nomenclature printed or etched on integrated circuits to insure that the markings are correct and legible. The company sells its products to original equipment manufacturers, as well as end users, including manufacturers and assemblers of integrated circuits through sales representatives worldwide; and through distributor agreements with companies in Japan.
