Aberdeen Indonesia Fund, Inc. is a closed ended balanced mutual fund launched and managed by Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Limited. It invests in the public equity and fixed income markets of Indonesia. The fund seeks to invest in securities of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in stocks of companies across all market capitalizations, as well as in debt securities. The fund employs fundamental analysis with a bottom-up security selection approach, focusing on such factors as global and local political, economic, and industry trends to create its portfolio. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the Morgan Stanley Capital International Indonesia Index. The fund was formerly known as The Indonesia Fund, Inc.
