As of December 15, 2004, SurgiCare Inc. was acquired by Orion HealthCorp Inc. It is a reverse merger transaction. Bellaire SurgiCare, Inc. offers healthcare services through an ambulatory surgery centre. Its services include general surgery; plastic surgery, including breast augmentation, reduction or reconstruction, face lifts, skin grafts and scar revision; podiatric surgery, including bunions, hammertoes, tailor's bunion, treatment for fracture, ligament repair, arthroscopy; orthopedics, including carpal tunnel release, bone biopsy, treatment for fracture and ligament repair; endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and biopsy; ear, nose and throat surgery, including tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, endoscopic nasal surgery; gynecology, including hysterectomy, laser laparoscopy, tubal ligation, D&C, hysteroscopy, laparoscopic hysterectomy and other surgical and diagnostic procedures; eye surgery, including removal of cataracts, laser surgery, eye muscle surgery and extraction of foreign objects from the eye; urology & urologic surgery, including cystoscopy, biopsy, vasectomy, hydrocele repairs, hypospadius repair; and neurologic surgery, including nerve surgery of the hand and arm.
